Welcome to C'an Limon
Life is better under a lemon tree
Relax and Breathe
At the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana, close to the charming town of Alaró, you will find C'an Limon. A house with a majestic lemon tree. This typical Mallorquin Finca offers our guests a few days of tranquility, in pure contact with nature, with all the benefits of relaxing in a rural setting.
The Finca
Inside the house you find 4 bedrooms en 4 bathrooms, an office, optic Fibre internet, a large and fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. The second big wooden table is under a veranda... our favorite place to forget the time during long, happy lunches.
C'an Limon is also an ideal starting point for the many hiking and cycling trails that can be explored in the Sierra de Tramuntana.
Architecture
The house mixes contemporary design with authentic Mallorcan architecture. Wooden beams, old doors, and green shutters provide a warm and cozy atmosphere. Design classics like the Charles Eames lounge chair and the Barcelona daybed from Mies van der Rohe. From every room of the house, your eye is drawn to the rolling hills outside, providing 180-degree unobstructed views.
The Garden
The tropical lush garden boosts a large pool area with bamboo sunbeds and a nice pergola with shade and coolness in the summer heat. You will smell Bougainville and Jasmin all around you.

Surroundings
C'an Limon is conveniently located on an asphalted dead-end road, just 2 km outside the center of Alaró.
It is a popular base with hikers and cyclists. The 'twin mountains' form a real landmark and attract many nature lovers. The house is surrounded by 3 important wineries: Bodegas Oloron, Can Ribas, and José. L. Ferrer.
The airport and beaches around Palma in the south are reached within 25 minutes by car.
The attractive northern coastline with Port de Pollenca, Alcudia, and Formentor is half an hour away.
Alaró
The town square in Alaró is an ideal place to enjoy an evening relaxing. There are plenty of restaurants like Can Fressa, Il Gaillardo, and local tapas bars. There is even a hip cocktail/winebar called Simons with an international expat crowd.
Every saturday there is a market at the town square with fresh fruit, vegetables, roasted chicken, and other local produce.
The biggest attraction in Alaró is Castillo de Alaro. It is considered a must-see for anyone visiting the area. The castle is a challenging two-hour walk from the center of the village. It is possible to drive part of the way up, parking at the well-known Lamb restaurant Es Verger. Once you reach the ruins of the castle you are rewarded with breathtaking views. You can admire the Mallorcan countryside stretching all the way to the bay of Palma while enjoying a hard-earned drink at the simple Refugio that is open all year.
